What we build on Shopify

We build custom Shopify stores for brands that have found product-market fit and need a storefront that reflects it. Not a template with a logo swap. A properly engineered store with clean code, structured data, fast load times, and integrations that actually work.

Custom theme development

Every store we build starts with a custom theme or a heavily customised foundation. We write clean Liquid, use structured metafields for content management, and build section-based architectures that give your team flexibility without breaking things. No page builders, no bloat.

Integrations and automation

Shopify doesn't run your business alone. It connects to your email platform, your fulfilment provider, your accounting software, your reviews tool, and your analytics stack. We build integrations that sync reliably, handle edge cases, and scale with your order volume. Klaviyo, Gorgias, ShipStation, Xero, NetSuite - we've integrated them all.

App development

When an off-the-shelf app doesn't exist or the ones available don't do what you need, we build custom Shopify apps. Private apps for internal workflows, custom apps for specific business logic, or public apps if that's where you're heading.

Store optimisation

Existing store running slow? Conversion rate dropping? We audit Shopify stores for performance bottlenecks, UX friction, and technical debt. Then we fix what matters most, in priority order, with measurable results.

Shopify vs Shopify Plus

Not every brand needs Shopify Plus. If you're doing under $1M in annual revenue and don't need checkout customisation, wholesale channels, or multiple expansion stores, standard Shopify with the right engineering is plenty powerful. We'll tell you honestly which tier makes sense for your business and budget.

If you do need Plus, we build on that too. Checkout extensibility, Scripts, Flow automations, multi-market expansion - the full toolkit.

How we work

We start with discovery - understanding your business, your customers, and what's actually going to move the needle. Then we scope a fixed-price build with clear deliverables and milestones. Design, development, QA, launch. No mystery timelines, no surprise invoices.

After launch, most clients stick with us on a monthly retainer for ongoing development, optimisation, and support. Your store isn't finished when it launches - it's just getting started.

Frequently Asked Quesitons
How much does a custom Shopify store cost?

Custom Shopify builds typically range from $20K to $80K depending on scope. A clean theme build with standard integrations sits at the lower end. Complex multi-collection stores with custom functionality and multiple integrations sit higher. We scope every project individually and give you a fixed price before starting.

How long does a Shopify build take?

Most Shopify builds run 8 to 14 weeks from kick-off to launch. Simpler theme builds can be faster. Complex projects with custom development and multiple integrations take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline during scoping.

Can you redesign my existing Shopify store?

Yes. We redesign existing Shopify stores regularly. We'll audit what you have, identify UX and performance issues, and either rebuild on a new theme or refactor your existing one depending on what makes more sense.

Do you only work with Shopify?

Yes. We work exclusively on Shopify and Shopify Plus. It's all we do, and it's what makes us good at it. If Shopify isn't the right platform for your business, we'll tell you upfront rather than build something that doesn't fit.

Where are you based?

Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. We work with brands across Australia and internationally. Most of our collaboration happens over video calls and shared project tools, so location isn't a barrier.
