Shopify Markets

Shopify Markets is Shopify's built-in solution for selling internationally from a single Shopify store. It lets you create market-specific experiences - localised pricing, currencies, languages, domains, and duties/tax calculations - without maintaining separate stores for each country or region.

For Shopify Plus merchants, Markets provides additional capabilities including custom pricing per market (not just currency conversion), market-specific product publishing, custom content by market, and integration with Shopify's managed markets for duties and import tax collection at checkout.

Markets is Shopify's answer to the multi-store problem. Previously, selling into different countries often meant running separate Shopify stores, which multiplied operational complexity. Markets centralises everything into one admin while presenting localised experiences to customers. For brands expanding from Australia into the US, UK, or Asia-Pacific markets, it's typically the most efficient path to international expansion. See our international expansion service for how we approach it.

Think: one store, every market — localised without the operational chaos.
