Athleisure is big business today, and its growth isn’t slowing down any time soon. Amidst a saturated marketplace of on-trend, design-centric athletic wear, Once Upon A Run were met with a positive reception after a short pop-up shop stint. Wanting to retain their momentum, founders and professional athletes Shay and Mitch set their sites on building a digital presence using Shopify, the best ecommerce platform on the market.
The magic started with our discovery workshop, where we delved into the Once ethos, fleshing out their purpose, passion, vision and mission. As professional athletes, both Shay and Mitch infuse Once with industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of their customer’s lifestyle. This gave Flux a foundational starting point to improve and update their branding, which was then to flow through to their new Shopify ecommerce solution.
Defining themselves as smarter active wear brand, this manifesto is reflected in a smart website that allows users to personalise their shopping experience. Products are divided into categories defined by activity – yoga, running, etc – resulting in an improved product pages. We also created different landing pages for each product category, using their Instragram content and a specific hashtag to create a unique offering for visitors.
